Corfu Dogs
A volunteer organisation that was founded in 1997. In addition to neutering of strays their aims include seeing that injured or ill animals receive medical treatment, protesting against animal cruelty in entertainment, and establishing programmes on animal welfare for local schools.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
PETA, with more than 800,000 members, is the largest animal rights organization in the world. Founded in 1980, PETA is dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals. PETA operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.

The Animal Protection Institute (API)
The API is a national animal advocacy nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, contributions to which are tax-deductible. Founded in 1968, API's mission is to advocate for the protection of animals from cruelty and exploitation.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
Since its humble beginning in 1824 - as the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - the RSPCA has worked tirelessly to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals.

Animal Welfare Institute
AWI is a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1951 to reduce the sum total of pain and fear inflicted on animals by humans.

The International Fund for Animal Welfare
They are now joined in this important work by some two million contributors worldwide. This broad base of support makes it possible for IFAW to engage communities, government leaders, and like-minded organizations around the world and achieve lasting solutions to pressing animal welfare and conservation challenges-solutions that benefit both animals and people. Over the years, their approach has been as varied as the species they protect.

The Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)
A Northwest leader in protecting animals since 1967. The Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) shelters homeless animals, rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife, and works to end animal abuse and exploitation. PAWS provides direct care to 10,000 animals each year. In 37 years, PAWS has united more than 105,000 companion animals with loving families, cared for 87,000 injured and orphaned wild animals, and made the world a better place for countless others through advocacy and education.
